Mahogany Silver Chest This Silver Chest Features a solid mahogany case with figured birch veneer drawer fronts and top panel. The top panel is two pieces of bookmatched veneer seamed for visual effects. The legs are tapered on all four sides and come to a bottom heavy diamond. The molding on the base was cut by hand with molding planes. The drawer sides and back are quarter sawn sycamore. The joints for the drawers are hand cut dovetails. The inside of the top compartment and the bottom drawer are flocked in a wine color flocking. The hardware is brass and ebony. The quartered hinges for the top are hand mortised and totally hidden when the lid is closed. the hinges support the lid with stops that disappear into the bottom of the frame. 	Mahogany Duet Piano Bench Here is a gorgeous Solid Mahogany Duet Piano bench. The top is one solid mahogany board with a 2" beveled top edge. The legs are tapered and fluted with a small half round molding above the foot. The color was dyed to match the existing piano, and finished with varnish and laquer. Koa Hanging Cabinet Here's a beautiful hanging cabinet suitable for any wall in your home. It has a hand dovetailed, solid Mahogany carcass that measures 32" tall, 9 1/2" wide and 6" deep. The front panel is bookmatched curly Koa veneer and the back panel is Pomelled Sepele veneer. The front shelf lips are solid Ebony and the door pull is a hand carved solid Ebony piece. Military Shadow Box	This is a custom military shadow box. I designed and built for my old Chief. It is consturcted of Mahogany and Lacewood and includes the Solid Mahogany table as a stand. All of the molding was hand cut with molding planes and the glass is 1/8" thick. The finish is a hand rubbed garnet shelac. The carcass features hand cut dovetails for support.
